In Between

A quiet companion for people between what was and what’s next

Status | 2026 in development

In Between started with a friend.

He's a skilled worker who moves between contracts. When a job ends, the same thing happens: he loses structure, loses focus, stops moving, stops eating well, stops connecting. It's not laziness. It's what happens when the four things work gives you — structure, identity, purpose, community — disappear overnight.

I wanted to build something that could companion him through that season. Not a productivity tool. Not a job search app. A presence. Something that meets you where you actually are, even if its playing video games at 2pm, and helps you take one small step toward yourself.

The rhythms in In Between are not achievements. They're acts of self-respect: stand up and take a breath. Look around and see your surroundings. Clean something. Stand tall.

The tone is: "You are not alone. You are safe and rebuilding.”
“It's okay to hurt today and rebegin tomorrow.”

In Between is still taking shape.
If you're interested in the project or know someone in the in between, I'd love to hear from you.
